Our Cleaning Efforts
We have always followed cleaning guidelines year-round in an effort to maintain a clean environment for our customers and employees.
During attended laundromat hours, our employees are required to clean and disinfect our laundromats at least hourly using hospital-grade products. Our employees attend to areas of common use, such as folding tables, door pulls and knobs, washer and dryer door handles, change and detergent machines, machine keypads, and bathrooms. All our laundromats have been, and continue to be, equipped with hand sanitizing stations.
Our laundromats have never been open 24 hours. This affords us the opportunity to have janitorial services on a nightly basis, seven days a week.
Our dry cleaning stores are required to regularly clean and disinfect general common areas of use – door handles, credit card pin pads, counters, etc.
According to the Surgeon General, hand washing is still one of the most effective ways to prevent Coronaviruses. All employees are instructed to wash their hands frequently for no less than 20 seconds.
